Debra Bowers

Debra Bowers, age 68, a resident of Portland, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Debra was born November 23, 1955, in Portland, the daughter of Ronald and Barbara (Stocker) Hutzler.  She married Michael Bowers in 1972.

Her husband:  Michael Bowers – Portland, Indiana

Son:  John Bowers (Juatana Johnson) – Eaton, Ohio

Siblings:  Rick Stocker (wife Rita) – Portland, Indiana

Rose Archer (husband Marvin) – Portland, Indiana

Randy Hutzler (wife Janet) – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Cindy Kelly – Portland, Indiana

2 grandsons:  Michael and Matthew Bowers

2 great-granddaughters:  River and Rylie Bowers

She was preceded in death by a brother; Ronnie Hutzler.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Pastor Joe Boggs will officiate and burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Fort Recovery, Ohio.
