Diane Camp, age 70, a resident of Portland, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.
Diane was born May 3, 1955, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of James and Mary (Guntle) Myers. She married James Camp on February 14, 1988 and he passed away in 2017.
Diane was a member of the Portland American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid Elvis fan and served as an administrator online for several Elvis groups. She worked for the Pennville Restaurant, Jinny’s Café in Bryant, Tom and Rods in Portland and Olan Mills Photography. She also worked with Bob McVay an Elvis Impersonator.

Her parents: James and Mary Myers – Pennville, Indiana
Daughter: Michaela Camp – Portland, Indiana
Sister: Debra Butler (husband Dova) – Pennville, Indiana
Brother: James Myers – Portland, Indiana
6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Felicia Myers and 2 grandchildren, Rainbow and Gabrielle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Hugh Kelly will officiate and burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
Memorials may be directed towards the Jay County Heart Fund.
