Dianna Smith

Dianna Lynn (Elwood) Smith, age 72, a former Portland resident passed away Sunday January 28, 2018 at Dayspring of Miami Valley in Fairborn, Ohio.

Dianna was born March 6, 1945 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of John and Lucille (Taflinger) Elwood. Dianna graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1963 and was a CNA at Jay County Hospital for over 20 years.

Dianna married Donald Lee Smith on June 25,1966.

3 Brothers: John D. Elwood (wife Connie) – Highland, Michigan

Jim Elwood (wife Marcia) – Louisville, Tennessee

Tony Elwood (wife Corina) – Portland, Indiana

1 Sister-In-Law: Sherry Elwood – Albany, Indiana

7 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Elwood.

Family services will be held on Sunday in Dayton, Ohio.
