Dieter Johnson

Dieter Johnson, age 65, a resident of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Marion VA in Marion, Indiana.  He was a former resident of Redkey, Indiana.

Dieter was born on September 18, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Damon and Herta (Hofstetter) Johnson.  He graduated from Redkey High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He worked for Miller Tire, Sears and Pizza King in Muncie.

2 daughters:  Bethany Aldrich (husband Michael) – Bellingham, Washington

Sheena Johnson – Tacoma, Washington

4 sisters:  Diana Bolz (husband Bruce) – Portland, Indiana

Linda Miller – Redkey, Indiana

Christina Cook (husband Bob) – Cookeville, Tennessee

Susan Gores (husband Ronald) – Redkey, Indiana

2 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter

Several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by a son, Jared Johnson and a granddaughter, Catherine Ann Welch.

Burial will be held at a later date in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
