Donald Kane

Donald Kane, age 90, a resident of New Corydon, in rural Jay County, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at his home.

Donald was born April 15, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Edwin and Jean (Barton) Kane. Donald served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for 55 years as a truck driver for Ruan Transportation. Donald was a member of the St. Mary’s Boat Club, Celina Eagles Lodge 1291 and Portland Eagles Lodge 928. Donald married Wilma Ludy on May 12, 1962.

His children: Eddie Demetres (wife Kathy) – Crowley, Texas

Tawnnie Litteral – Celina, Ohio

George Kane (wife Jerrie) – Yorktown, Indiana

1 sister: Joyce Ann Gallagher – Wilmington, North Carolina

Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
