Donald L. Stipp, age 78, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home in Greene Twp. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of the Portland American Legion Post 211, and the VFW Post in Geneva. He retired in 2000 from Fisher Guide in Anderson after 29 years. He was a retired member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 663. He was also a member of the Portland Moose and the Portland Eagles Lodge.
Donald Stipp was born September 3, 1935 in Portland, Indiana the son of Clarence and Lilly (Freyburgher) Stipp.

1 Brother- Jimmie Stipp (wife- Betty), Portland, Indiana
1 Sister- Edith Green Dickey, Portland, Indiana
1 Grandson- Damon Stipp, Winchester, Indiana
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lilly Stipp, 2 Brothers- Clarence and John Stipp, 1 Sister- Thelma Nevil and a Nephew- John Stipp.
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm Thursday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Friday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Hugh Kelly and Pastor Terry Domstad will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland. Portland American Legion Post 211 will conduct military rites at the cemetery.
