Doris Wagner

Doris J. Wagner, age 94, a resident of Portland passed away Thursday August 30, 2018 at Millers Marry Manor in Dunkirk.

Doris was born November 15, 1923 in Hartford City the daughter of Albert and Mary (Kravis) Jones. She worked Bubps Footcare in Portland and enjoyed working flea markets for many years.  Doris married James P. Wagner on February 7, 1942 James passed away March 25, 1991.

Survivors include:

2 sons: James A. Wagner – Portland, Indiana

John Wagner – Portland, Indiana

Son-in-law:  Jess Hamond – Woodstock, Georgia

8 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren

She was proceeded in death by a daughter Jayne Hammond and a sister Lottie Atkinson.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at John Wagner’s home, 525 E. Water St., Portland beginning at 12 noon.
