Dorothy Steen

Dorothy Steen, age 79, a resident of Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Portland passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Portland. She retired from Quick Plastics in Portland after 35 years.
Dorothy Steen was born December 4, 1934 in Wells County, Indiana the daughter of John and Iney Jane (Ramseyer) Gaskill. She was married July 11, 1953 to Homer Steen.

1 Sister- Ruth Scheinkel (husband-Francis), Muncie, Indiana
1 Granddaughter and 2 Great Grandsons
Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Sunday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Wayne Ward will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery northwest of Portland.
