Dustin A. Journay

Dustin “Chink” A. Journay, age 35, a resident of Portland. Passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home.

Dustin was born February 2, 1985 in Portland, Indiana the son of Eldon Journay and Cindy (Hutzler) Kelley. He was a self-employed contractor. Dustin enjoyed fishing with his family and tinkering with everything.

Survivors include:

1 son: Ryker Journay – Portland, Indiana

His parents: Eldon Journay and Cindy Kelley – Portland, Indiana

1 sister: Nickole Journay – Central City, Iowa

2 Brothers: Tim Compton – Portland, Indiana

Chris Compton – Portland, Indiana

Visitation will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home on Monday.  Pastor Randy Davis will officiate the service and burial will follow at a later date in Wells Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
