Ellen L. Hale, age 69, a resident of Goshen, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Indiana.
Ellen was born on October 20, 1945, in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of Orbrey and Sally (Cutsinger) Anthony. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Goshen, Indiana. She married James England in 1966 and he passed away in 1979. She later married Jerry Hale on August 30, 1980 and he passed away on September 11, 2009.
Survivors include:
1 son: Joseph Hale – Goshen, Indiana
2 step-daughters: Terry Hale – Portland, Indiana
Sandy Clack – Ft. Recovery, Ohio
2 step-sons: Todd Hale – Portland, Indiana
Jerry Jo Hale – Portland, Indiana
1 brother: Eddy Anthony (wife Nancy) – Arcanum, Ohio
5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed towards her son, Joseph Hale.
