Elmer J Muhlenkamp

Elmer J Muhlenkamp, age 81, a resident of Bryant, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton. He was a lifelong farmer in Penn Township. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Margarets Catholic Church in Montpelier, Indiana, then became a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portland.

Elmer was born on April 10, 1935, in Mercer County, Ohio the son of Albin and Rose (Turckes) Muhlenkamp. He married Jane Upp on November 27, 1971 and she survives.

Michelle Burke – Rural Bryant, Indiana

3 brothers: William Muhlenkamp – Celina, Ohio

Marvin Muhlenkamp – Bryant, Indiana

Daniel Muhlenkamp (wife Janice) – Celina, Ohio

5 grandchildren

Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the Williamson and Spencer funeral home in Portland. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portland, Indiana. Father Robert Moran will officiate the services and burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
