Emma Lou Bocook

Emma Lou (Myers) Bocook, 84, of Port Huron, Michigan passed away on January 30, 2021.

Emma was born in Portland, Indiana on October 18, 1936 to Kathleen (Williamson) and Noel

Myers of Portland. She attended school at American University of Beirut in Lebanon, earning

her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Emma nursed in Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, and

Michigan. Additionally, she taught nursing at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana.

Emma is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Leo Bocook, and sisters,

Judith McFarland and Carla Wilson. She is survived by her children, Tammy Mignanelli, Thomas

Saloom, Timothy Saloom, Teresa Gomez and her grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers,

David and Ronald.

Burial will follow at a later date in Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
