Eric Yager

Eric Yager, age 57, a resident of rural Pennville, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in rural Pennville.

Eric was born on February 28, 1964, in Urbana, IL, the son of Jerry and Margie (Cook) Yager.  He worked for Mr. Reinhard at LC 100 South LLC.

Eric loved his kids, family and friends. He was very passionate about his newfound job working with farm animals. He enjoyed the freedom of nature which he enjoyed capturing pictures to share his memories.

Survivors include:

2 children:  Zander and Erica Sutton – Portland, Indiana

3 brothers:  Joe Yager – Champaign, IL

Kirk Yager (wife Amy) – Champaign, IL

Terry Yager (wife Ann) - Arizona

Several nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-3 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Services to celebrate Eric’s life will follow at 3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
