Faye L. Myers

Faye L. Myers, age 91, a former resident of Pike Township, Jay County, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at her home in Portland.
Faye was born on April 16, 1922, in Jay County, Indiana, the daughter of James and Maggie (King) Trobridge. She worked for Jaqua Shinaberry Insurance in Portland for several years and farmed with her husband in Pike Township for many years. Faye married Raymond Myers on September 28, 1940 and he passed away on October 3, 2011.

1 daughter: Nancy Batchelder (husband Larry) – Fort Wayne, Indiana
3 sister-in-laws: Wanda Hollowell – Winchester, Indiana
Roberta Myers – Portland, Indiana
Thelma Myers – Portland, Indiana
11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Bruce Phillips will officiate and burial will follow in the Little Salamonia Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
