Florine Coffel, age 99, a former Pennville resident passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Rawlins House Health and Living Center in Pendleton, Indiana. She was a church organist for over 60 years, playing for Bluffton Evangelical Reformed Church, Pennville United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church in Warsaw and Portland, and the Korean service for First Presbyterian Church in Ft.Wayne,. In Portland, she was a member and an organist for the First Presbyterian Church for over 20 years. She was currently a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Wayne. She was a 1933 graduate of Bluffton High School.
Florine Coffel was born September 24, 1915 in Berne, Indiana the daughter of Jacob and Miriam (Sprunger) Felber.
Survivors Include:
1 Daughter- Camille Wilson (husband-David), Kendallville, In.
3 Sons- Jeff Coffel (wife-Kay), Noblesville, In.
Hal Coffel (special friend-Diane Crouse), Eaton, In.
George Coffel, Ft. Wayne, In.
10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home
Pennville Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Pennville. Rev Stan Wilson will officiate the services and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
Memorials may be directed to the Pennville United Methodist Church or the Ft. Wayne First Presbyterian Church.
