Fred L. Lingo, age 71, a resident of Jackson Township in rural Pennville, passed away on Friday, May 09, 2014 at his home.     Fred was born on December 19, 1942, in Jay County, Indiana the son of Donald and Jeanne (Meyers) Lingo-Rines.  Fred graduated from Poling High School and retired from the Portland Forge.   He was a member of the Bluetick Breeders and Coon Hunters Association, the Limberlost Coonhunters Club,  the Bluetick Breeders of American where he was given a Lifetime Achievement Award and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 1620.  Fred married Jeni Wolford on March 11, 1967.     Survivors include: His wife:  Jeni Lingo – rural Pennville, Indiana   1 son:  Matt Lingo (wife Sarah) – Pennville, Indiana   2 daughters:  Shelley Dunn – Pennville, Indiana            Carol Bantz (husband Rick) – Albany, Indiana   1 brother:  Allen Lingo (wife Jodi) – Glasgow, Kentucky   5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild   Several nieces and nephews   Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.     Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.   Pastor Larry Eads will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.     Memorials can be made to the Pennville Public Library.
