Gary Charlton

Gary Charlton, age 63, a resident of Dunkirk, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Gary was born on March 11, 1958, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Forrest and Evelyn (Fears) Charlton.  He graduated from Delta High School and earned a certificate from IVY Tech in autobody work.  Gary worked for Fuqua’s in Dunkirk and Blackburn’s Auto Body in Albany.  He recently retired from Joyce Dayton in Portland.

Gary married Deb Arnold on January 20, 1985.

His children:  Nathan Charlton (wife Misty) – Muncie, Indiana

Shonda Easton (husband Troy) – Dunkirk, Indiana

Bradley Schuyler (wife Becky) – Jefferson, Georgia

David Charlton – Dunkirk, Indiana

His father:  Forrest Charlton – Muncie, Indiana

1 brother:  Jeff Charlton (wife Debbie) – Daleville, Indiana

11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3pm-5pm at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral will follow the visitation at 5pm at the funeral home.
