Gerald O. Johnson, age 69 a resident of Portland passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his home. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren Church in Portland and also attended Fellowship Baptist Church, Portland. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose and Elks Lodge all in Portland.
Gerald Johnson was born November 11, 1944 in Elwood, Indiana the son of Joseph and Jewel (Stout) Johnson.

Canterina Walker, (husband-Steve), Ligonier, Indiana
Julie Norton, (husband- Kelley), Berne, Indiana
1 Brother- Robert Johnson, Union City, Indiana
21 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Herb Hummel will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice or the family.
