Gladys Young, age 84, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.
Gladys was born on April 20, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois. She had a heart of gold and fun sense of humor. Gladys was highly creative, loved sewing, her miniature collection and hugs; she also loved music and singing. Gladys was a national roller skating champion.
Survivors include:
1 daughter: Karen Rose (husband Jim) – Portland, Indiana
2 sons: John Johnson (wife Maria) – Foresthill, California
Ken Johnson (wife Sharon) – Spring Hills, Florida
Several grandchildren: Michelle Frazee (husband Michael), Erin Rose, Michael Johnson, Jamie Howard (husband Andrew), Nicole Maynard (husband Michael)
Several great-grandchildren: Alexander Frazee, Nathan Frazee, Ember Maynard, Noah Howard
