Helen Hopkins, age 60, a Portland resident passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Jay County Hospital.
She was born June 17, 1953 in Burnettsville, Indiana the daughter of Virgil B. and Mary Alice (Wynn) Powell.
She was married to James Lee Hopkins and he preceded her in death .
Survivors Include:
1 Brother- Raymond Powell, Ft. Wayne, Indiana
4 Sisters- Dorothy Stewart (husband-Roy), Hartford City, Indiana
Jean Younger (husband- David), Redkey, Indiana
Linda Fidler, (husband- Jim), Portland, Indiana
Trish Olsen, Seattle, Washington
Several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date for the family at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
