Herbert Howell

Herbert Howell, age 75, a resident of rural Portland, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.

Herbert was born on August 8, 1942, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Dallas and Ruth (Slusser) Howell.  He retired from Lease Way Transportation in 2003 after 20 years of service.  He served as a scout leader for the Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts for many years.  He was a member of the Order of the Arrow.  He married Connie McAfee on December 30, 1976 and she survives.

There will be no services or visitation held.
