Howard "Don" Bash
November 4, 1936 — October 25, 2015
Howard “Don” Bash, age 78, a rural Portland resident passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Jay County Hospital. He was retired from the Portland Forge after many years and also worked at the Portland WalMart. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Howard Donald Bash was born November 4, 1936 the son of Lester and Alice (Ames) Bash. He was married June 27, 1959 to Shirley Rauch.

3 Daughters- Terri Moser (husband-Mark), Bryant, Indiana
Vicky Bash, Portland, Indiana
Tammy McBash, (wife-Sharon) Saugatuck, Michigan
3 Brothers- Marion Bash (wife-Brenda), Kentucky
Bob Bash (wife-Ellen), Idaho
Charles Bash (wife-Dorothy), England
9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
1 Son- Timothy Bash preceded in death
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral home in Portland.
Funeral Services will follow at 2pm Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Arnold officiating the services with cremation to follow. The American Legion Post #211 of Portland will conduct military rites at the funeral home.
