Imogene Landon

Imogene Landon, age 97 a resident of Berne and a former Jay County resident passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Chalet Village in Berne.  She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and was active in the Women’s Circle.  She retired after more than 30 years from the Jay County ASCS Office in Portland.

Imogene Landon was born October 13, 1922 in Jay County, Indiana the daughter of William and Hattie (Hoppess) Miller.

Survivors Include:

1 Daughter- Sondra Ford (husband-Henry), Berne, Indiana

2 grandsons:  Gregg Ford (wife Joy), Willshire, Ohio and Jeff Ford (wife Susan), Ohio City, Ohio, 7 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Rittenhouse officiating.

Private burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
