Imogene Lawhead

Imogene Lawhead, age 85, a resident of Portland, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home in Portland.

Imogene was born April 20, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd and Mary Margaret (Tucker) Grapner.  She retired from CTS in Berne after 30 years of service.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Portland, Portland Moose Lodge and Antique Car Club.  She married Tommie Lawhead on July 16, 1957 and he passed away on February 12, 1993.

Barbara Grile (husband Stanley) – Troy, Ohio

Daniel Lawhead (wife Diane) – Portland, Indiana

Teresa Ainsworth (husband James) – Yorktown, Indiana

Tami Eley (husband Mike) – Portland, Indiana

Rick Lawhead (wife Denise) – Portland, Indiana

Tommie Lawhead, Jr. (wife Susan) – Portland, Indiana

Bridget Snapp (husband Ryan) – Piqua, Ohio

Sisters-in-law:  Rosie Grapner – Portland, Indiana

Patricia Bowman - Virginia

23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Private burial will be held at North Grove Cemetery in Celina, Ohio.
