Inez Mae Hutchison

Inez Mae Hutchison, age 90, a resident of Pennville, passed away on Thursday, May 08, 2014, at her son’s home in rural Dunkirk, Indiana.

Inez was born on November 8, 1923 in Blackford County, Indiana, the daughter of Clarence and Eva (Keller) Beeks.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1941 and served as Clerk/Treasurer for Pennville from 1976 to 1988 and also served as Postmaster in Pennville for several years.  Inez was a member of the Pennville United Methodist Church in Pennville.  She was a member of the En Avant Club and the Pennville American Legion Auxiliary.  Inez married Lewis Harley Hutchison on March 28, 1944 and he passed away on August 8, 2003.

Survivors include:

4 sons:  Karl A. Hutchison (wife Vera) – Salina, Oklahoma

Lyle E. Hutchison (wife Elaina) – Hartford City, Indiana

James L. Hutchison (wife Tamara) – Dunkirk, Indiana

David H. Hutchison (companion Miriam) – Pennville, Indiana

1 sister:  Mary Alice Beger – St. Joseph, Missouri

14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Hutchison and 4 brothers, Herman Beeks, Bob Beeks, Virgil Beeks, and Harry Beeks.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Pennville.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Pennville.  Pastor Gary Phillips will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
