James David Lemaster

James David LeMaster, age 75, a resident of Portland, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Dunkirk.

David was born on April 12, 1947, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Garth L. LeMaster, Sr. and Ora (Brady) LeMaster.  He graduated from Portland High School in 1965 and was a veteran of the US Army.  David worked for Horizon Mobile Homes in Portland for several years and retired from Jay Products in Portland.

Garth “Mike” LeMaster, Jr. (wife Sally) – Portland, Indiana

A special friend/brother: James Bruner (wife Cheryl) – Portland, Indiana

Step-son:  Herb Allen – Minnesota

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 12-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  Pastor Herb Hummel will officiate and burial will follow at Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia, Indiana.  Portland American Legion Post #211 will conduct military graveside rites.
