Janet Franks-Perez

Janet Franks-Perez, age 54 a resident of Bluffton and a former Portland resident passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home.  She had worked at BRC, Pak-A-Sak and Peyton’s in  Bluffton.  She enjoyed camping and attending swap meets in the area.

Janet was born August 21, 1964 in Jay County, Indiana the daughter of Harry Franks and Shirley (Witchie) Pavey.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sisters- Teresa Shultz, Pam Waters, and Melissa Brown.

2 Sons- Dylan Franks, Bluffton, Indiana

Jonathon Franks (wife-Lauren), Zanesville, Indiana

5 Sisters- Cathy Bruss (husband-Dennis) Salamonia, Indiana

Donna Eley (husband-Dan), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Peggy Cain (husband-Scott) Tucson, Arizona

Jean Gutknecht, Houston, Texas

Michelle Roser, Portland, Indiana

3 Brothers- Dean Franks, California

Phillip Pavey II, Illinois

Matthew Pavey (wife-Krystal), Lafayette, Indiana

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00pm-5:00pm on Wednesday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 5:00pm at the funeral home.  Pastor Dave McClellen will officiate the services and burial will follow at a later date in Lawndale Cemetery east of Ridgeville, Indiana.
