Janet Marie Smith

Janet Marie Smith, age 79, a resident of Portland passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehab in Muncie, Indiana.  She was employed at McDonalds in Portland for several years and was part of the Jay Randolph Developmental Services family.

Janet Smith was born May 30, 1942 in Jefferson County, Indiana the daughter of Melvin and Florine Smith.

Survivors include her beloved friends, Andy and Pam Schemenaur, of rural Portland.

Visitation for Janet Smith will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, Monday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland with funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00am.  Andy Schemenaur will officiate the service and private burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery, north of Madison, Indiana.
