Janetta Straley, age 78 a resident of Portland passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She and her husband owned and operated Straley Garage for many years. She worked at Naas Foods in Portland for 27 years and retired from Red Gold in Geneva. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the American Legion Auxiliary both in Portland.
Janetta Straley was born April 30, 1935 in Midland, Michigan the daughter of Lester and Victo (Welch) Leverich. She was married in 1966 to Robert W. Straley who survives.

Rex Leverich (wife-Rita), Upland, Indiana
1 Son deceased- Kirby Miller
Visitation will be held from 11am-2pm on Saturday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
