Jennifer Nibarger, age 44, a resident of Portland, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 following an extended illness.

Jennifer was born March 20, 1981, in Coldwater, Ohio, the daughter of Joe and Deborah (Parks) Coleman. She graduated from Jay County High School in 2000 and worked for the Jay County Health Department for over 25 years as an Immunization Clerk and Registrar. She married Christopher Nibarger on October 25, 2013.

Jennifer was a generous soul who never met a stranger. Family meant everything to her, from her immediate family to her extended family.

Her husband: Christopher Nibarger – Portland, Indiana

Her children: Sydnie Zorn – Portland, Indiana

Blake Zorn – Portland, Indiana

Brianna Zorn – Pennville, Indiana

Blake Pruett – Portland, Indiana

Her sisters: Amie Carpenter (Jeffrey Bost) – Portland, Indiana

Kristin Coleman (Jason Foster) – Portland, Indiana

1 grandson: Westyn Pogue

Several nieces, nephews and bonus children

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
