Jerry Baughman
May 6, 1925 — July 5, 2015
Jerry Baughman, age 90 a resident of Portland passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center. He was a 1946 graduate of Portland High School. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the aircraft carrier, USS Savo Island. He retired from Delco Remy in Muncie after 30 years. He was a member of the Portland American Legion Post 211.
Jerry was born May 6, 1925 in Bryant, Indiana the son of Ralph and Marjorie (Ford) Baughman. He was married to Freda Hart on September 1, 1946.

Margie DeVoss, Indianapolis, Indiana
Claudia Jones (husband-Richard), Portland, Indiana
Nephew- Richard Baughman (wife-Rosa), Napels, Italy
5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 11am-2pm Friday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday in the funeral home. Pastor Jason Rice will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant. American Legion Post 211 will be in charge of military rites at the cemetery.
