John Bienz

John Bienz, age 66, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his home in Portland.

John was born on September 16, 1951, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Robert and Erma (Sprague) Bienz.  He worked for NAAS Foods in Portland and Red Gold in Geneva for over 20 years.  He married Peggy Ellsworth and she passed away in 1993.

2 sisters:  Deborah Sexton (husband Don) – Bowdon, Georgia

Jane Westgerdes (husband Paul) – Ohio City, Ohio

He was preceded in death by a sister Kathy Butcher and 2 brothers Jack Bienz and Pete Meckstroth.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Springhill Cemetery in Fort Recovery.
