Jon Hollopeter Jr.

Jon Hollopeter, Jr., age 54, a resident of Union City, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at his home in Union City.

Jon was born October 26, 1971, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Jon Hollopeter, Sr. and Carol (Arnold) Stump. He graduated from Jay County High School in 1990. Jon was a truck driver for many years and worked as a grain mill operator. He enjoyed working on cars, was an avid Colts fan and loved NASCAR.

Nieces and nephew: Ashley Twigg (husband Garrick), Alyssa Grayson (husband Kyle), Megan McGraw, Jacob McGraw

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carol and Marty Stump.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Graveside services will follow at Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
