Joseph Shull

Joseph “Joe” Freeman Shull, age 72, a resident of the Jay County Retirement Center in Portland, passed away on Wednesday, September 03, 2014, at Woodcrest Nursing Home in Decatur.
Joe was born on July 18, 1942, in Noblesville, Indiana, the son of Joseph and Mary Ann (Irland) Shull. He worked for the City of Dunkirk, and Geneva Manufacturing. He also worked on the farm at the Jay County Retirement Center.
Survivors include:
1 son: Joe Shull (wife Amanda) – Ravens Wood, West Virginia
1 sister: Mary Elliott – rural Portland, Indiana
3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 noon – 2 p.m. at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 930 W. Main St., Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Portland. Pastor Steve Arnold will officiate and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
