Judy A. Reed

Judy A. Reed, age 81, a resident for Redkey, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home in Redkey.

Judy was born on May 15, 1940, in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of John and Mildred (Pate) Reed.  She graduated from Anderson Community Schools and worked in the cafeteria at Anderson Community Schools for 25 years.  Judy married Joe Reed on May 17, 1963 and he passed away in 2007.  Judy was an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Survivors include:

Her children:  Jill Reed – Redkey, Indiana

Julie Barlow (husband Dean) – Redkey, Indiana

John Reed (wife Mitzie) – Mulberry, Florida

Grandchildren:  Amanda Warner (husband Robert), Jeremy Barlow (wife Katie), Joel Greco, Joey Greco (wife Erica), Taylor Reed (husband Andrew)

Great-grandchildren:  Deaken Warner, Brayden, Brody and Layla Barlow and Aubree Forsythe

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and a granddaughter Kylee Reed.

Services to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at a later date.
