Julie Ann DeHoff, age 40 a Portland resident passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Wells County, Indiana. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren in Jay County. She worked at Priority Plastics in Portland. She had also worked at at First National Bank, W&M Manufacturing and FCC, all in Portland. She was a 1992 graduate of Jay County High School.
Julie was born July 6, 1974 in Bluffton, Indiana the daughter of Tony and Shirley (Shields) DeHoff.
She is survived by:
3 Daughters- Shelby Gierhart, Markle, Indiana
Catera Gierhart, Portland, Indiana
and the late Alexus Gierhart
2 Brothers- Rodney DeHoff (wife-Lisa), Pennville, Indiana
Mark DeHoff (wife-Jennifer), Portland, Indiana
Her parents- Tony and Shirley DeHoff, Portland, Indiana
2 Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 11am-7pm Friday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday in the Redkey United Methodist Church, 122 W. Main St., Redkey, Indiana. Visitation will also be 1 hour prior to service time at the church. Pastor Earl Doll will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
Memorials may be directed to Carter Poore in care of Rich Gierhart to establish a college trust fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
