Karen Jenkins, age 66, a resident of Pine Knoll in Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Karen was born June 24, 1960, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of William R. and Elsie Maud (Norris) Walker. She married Stephen Jenkins, Sr. on May 5, 1999.

Joe Jenkins (wife Beverly) – Ridgeville, Indiana

Her siblings: Garry Walker (wife Jodi) – Portland, Indiana

Betty Smith (husband Steve) – Portland, Indiana

Lori McCurdy (husband Edward) – Portland, Indiana

8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Felger.

Services to celebrate Karen’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
