Kathryn J. Cook, age 65, a resident of rural Portland in Pike Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at her home.
Kathy was born on March 9, 1951 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Betty (Wilkinson) Minch. She was a 1969 graduate of Portland High School. She and her husband own and operate Cooks Nursery in Portland. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland. She married Bill Cook on September 3, 1983.

1 Brother: Mike Minch (wife Jacqueline) – Portland, Indiana
6 grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Jill Howard will officiate and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
