Kenneth Stone, age 71, a resident of Geneva, passed away on November 7, 2024 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Kenneth was born on February 27, 1953 in Portland the son of Raymond and Olga Louise (Armstrong) Stone. Kenneth graduated from Purdue University. Kenneth worked for EPC in Geneva, GE in Kentucky, Nelson Global in Ft. Wayne, Tenneco Automotive in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Basal Solutions in Michigan, and Aerotek all as an engineer. In his spare time Kenneth designed and built a machine to manufacture exhaust systems for Ford Motor Company, GMC, and Chrysler. He attended Church of God of Prophecy in Portland and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed woodworking.
Kenneth married Rose Tan Sabio on March 25, 2016.

Connie Hiatt (Husband Todd) – Portland
Tina Cavanaugh (husband Chris) – Portland
Tammy Wilhelm – Portland
15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a brother Jim Stone and nephews Jerry Stone, and Herman Tyler Stone.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Nan Weesner officiating the service. Burial will follow at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed towards Church of God of Prophecy.
