Larry P. Guntle

Larry P. Guntle, age 83 a resident of Portland passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Albany Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was an independent truck driver, and worked 12 years for UPS.  He also worked security for Indiana Glass and Sheller Globe Co..  He was a member of the Kingsley Full Gospel Church in Dunkirk.  He also was a veteran serving in the Indiana National Guard.

Larry P. Guntle was born August 9, 1937 in Mercer County, Ohio the son of Howard and Dorothy (Jones) Guntle.

Survivors Include:

1 Son- Larry E. Guntle, Portland

1 Daughter- Belinda Schmidt, Bluffton

2 Brothers- Howard Guntle, Portland

Danny Guntle, Pennville

3 Sisters- Mary Lou Myers (husband-James), Pennville

Marjorie Hickey, Petroleum

Beverly Hodge, Portland

6 Grandchildren , several Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Judy Hough and Connie Guntle.

Visitation for Larry P. Guntle will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Tuesday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Ft. Recovery, Ohio.

Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
