Leota Kaufman

Leota Kaufman, age 96 a former Salamonia resident passed away Monday evening, May 12, 2014 at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Portland. She was born Feb. 20, 1918 in Delaware County, Indiana the daughter of Jesse and Bessie (House) Shoemaker.
Leota was married in 1948 to Roy Kaufman and he passed away in 1975.

Visitation will be held from 9-11am Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Minister Flint Redwine will officiate the services and burial will follow in the New Pittsburg Cemetery on the Jay-Randolph county line.
