Levi Bontrager, age 72, a resident of rural Portland, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012, at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
Levi was born on July 1, 1940, in Lagrange County, Indiana the son of Amos D. and Esther (Eash) Bontrager. He retired in 2002 from Palm Harbor Homes in Marietta, Georgia. He married Nancy Hiestand and she passed away on August 30, 2009.

1 Daughter: Tammy Forrest - Chandler, Arizona
1 Step Son: John Parker Adams - Sidney, Ohio
1 Brother- Ervin Bontrager, Millersburg, Indiana
3 Sisters- Mary Slabaugh, Greenville, Pennsylvania
Katie Miller, Millersburg, Indiana
Fannie Lehman, Topeka, Indiana
4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson
Proceeded in death by twin brother- Eli Bontrager
Visitation for Levi Bontrager will be held on Sunday from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland and cremation will follow.
