Lewis Edward Shultz, age 85, a resident of Portland, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.
Lewis was born on April 6, 1928, in Jay County, Indiana, the son of William and Mary (Shirk) Shultz. He graduated from Poling High School in 1946. He worked for New Idea Corporation in Coldwater, Ohio, retiring after 38 years of service. He also farmed in Jackson and Bearcreek Township in Jay County. Lewis married Betty Jean Liddy on December 24, 1948.

Tamara Sisler (husband Tom) - Hartford City, Indiana
14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter
Visitation for Lewis will be held on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Union Chapel Church, 6238 N. 375 W., Bryant, Indiana. Pastor Mike Morgan and Paul Isch will officiate and burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
