Linda Horine

Linda Horine, age 71, a resident of Portland, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Linda was born on November 12, 1949, in Seaman, Ohio, the daughter of James and Ola (Barrett) Ball.  She worked for JRDS in Portland for 10 years until her retirement.  She was previously married to David Baynes (deceased), Ted Davis, William McGraw and Kevin Horine (deceased).

2 daughters:  Tina Lessing (husband Duane) – Portland, Indiana

Davene Steen (boyfriend David Hunt) – Pennville, Indiana

2 sisters:  Jean Zoeller (husband Bernard) – Kenton, Ohio

Mary Denney (husband Don) – Milton, Florida

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by 3 daughters; Linda Guntle, Brenda Bayne-Mourant and Cheryl Smiley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Services to celebrate Linda’s life will follow at 12 noon on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
