Lloyd Baynes

Lloyd Baynes, age 72, a resident of rural Portland in Greene Township, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Jay County Hospital in Portland.

Lloyd was born on August 8, 1941, in Hayti, Missouri, the son of Frank and Maime Baynes.  He worked as a semi-truck driver for Local 600.  Lloyd married Vera Spurgeon on March 6, 1981.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation or services held.
