Lucinda Mixon

March 12, 1945 — March 28, 2023

Lucinda Mae Mixon, age 78, a resident of Portland, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at The Waters Nursing Home in Dunkirk.

Lucinda was born on March 12, 1945, in Winchester, Indiana, the daughter of David and Harriett (Coffman) Moody.  She graduated in 1963 from Lynn High School and worked as a wire operator for Paine-Weber Inc. in Dallas, Texas.  She was a member of Portland Friends Church.

Survivors include:

Her siblings:  Sally LeMaster (husband Mike) – Portland, Indiana

Mark Moody (wife Brenda) – Lynn, Indiana

4 nieces, 5 nephews, 8 great nephews, 6 great nieces, 2 great great-nieces and 3 great-great-nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Snyder.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  Private burial will be held at a later date in Spartanburg Cemetery, east of Lynn, Indiana.

Memorials may be directed towards Portland Friends Church.
