Madonna E. Fulks

Madonna E. Fulks, age 91, a former resident of New Pittsburg and Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Willowbend Living Center in Muncie, Indiana. She was a member of the Randolph Friends Church in Ridgeville.
She worked for Union City Hospital from 1959 until 1967 as a nurse’s aide. She then worked for many years in home healthcare.
Madonna Fulks was born May 19, 1922 in Kurtz, Indiana the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Clevenger) Grubbs Sr. She was married in 1944 to James D.R. Fulks and he passed away in 1971.
Survivors Include:
1 Son- James Fulks (Lila), Dunkirk, Indiana
1 Brother- Joseph Grubbs, Jacksonville, Florida
Several nieces and nephews including Michael Grubbs (wife Amy)
She was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Vernal, Paul and Wesley Grubbs and her sisters, Zella, Geraldine and Naomi Grubbs.
Visitation will be held from 10-11am Saturday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Jonathon Edwards will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery on the Jay- Randolph County line.
