Marcella L. Bonifield

Marcella L. Bonifield, age 95, a resident of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Marcella was born on January 26, 1918, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of Alfred and Mabel (Joseph) Sanders. She was a member of the Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene and Portland Women of the Moose. She worked for Fort Recovery Industries for 17 years. Marcella married Frank W. Bonifield on December 25, 1936 and he passed away on March 20, 1989.

1 brother: Roger Sanders (wife Mary) - Ansonia, Ohio
1 sister: Ruby Singer - New Weston, Ohio
8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by three children, Charles, Gary and Diane Bonifield.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6 at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Reverend Dennis Kelley and Reverend Verle Ballmer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens Cemetery, north of Greenville, Ohio.
