Marciel Tyndall-Shull, age 93, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Cridersville, Ohio. She was a former resident of Portland, Indiana and Wapakoneta, Ohio.
Marciel was born on September 4, 1922, in Blackford County, Indiana, the daughter of Everett and Mabel (Mitchell) Fields. She worked for Jay County Hospital and retired in 1985. Marceil was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She married Arthur Tyndall on December 8, 1940 and he passed away on September 13, 1974. She later married Ray Shull on July 5, 1988 and he passed away on October 30, 1995.

1 daughter: Patricia Baeumel – Cridersville, Ohio
1 step-son: Kenneth Shull – Portland, Indiana
2 step-daughters: Katheryn Shauver (husband Allen) – Portland, Indiana
Joyce Milligan – Portland, Indiana
1 sister: Beulah Gray – Anderson, Indiana
5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Douglas Baeumel, a great granddaughter, Nicole Garrison and a son-in-law, Larry Baeumel, 3 brothers, Alvie, Robert and John Fields, and 3 sisters, Elizabeth Lemon, Helen Anderson and Wilma Sheringa.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Reverend Kurt Klingbeil will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
Memorials may be directed towards the St. John Lutheran Church or Tri-County Hospice.
