Marie Scott

Marie Scott, age 91 a Pennville resident passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Bluffton, Indiana. She was a homemaker and also a cook at Pennville High School for many years.
Marie was born October 12, 1923 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia the daughter of Tazwell and Cora (Buchanan) Dorton. She was married on June 1, 1940 to Gale Scott and he passed away January 21, 2006.
Survivors Include:
1 Son- Ray Scott (wife-Beverly, Pennville, Indiana
6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
She had a son, James Scott precede her in death
Visitation will be held from 11-2pm on Thursday in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with burial in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
